ORGANISERS of Congleton Food and Drink Festival say there will be an array of culinary delights for all.
coach bagsThe event will be held in the town centre on Sunday, June 20 from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
coach bagsThe High Street will be closed from 8am until 6pm to allow the stalls to be set up and cleared away.
The music theme will be jazz and the food theme buy local and grow local.
This year, the organisers have introduced Asian, Turkish, Caribbean and Mediterranean food, along with a Tibetan kitchen.
Organisers have joined forces with Congleton's Abundance Project, which will include healthy cooking demonstrations from chef Sam Newton, from Plus Dane Housing, Bromley Farm Development Trust, the Allotment Association as well as Master Composting demonstrations.
The festival, which is funded by the local Dean Trust and the Co- operative Membership group, is organised by Congleton Community Projects.
coach bagsThe town hall will host a Taste Theatre with cooking demonstrations and cook-offs.
