A CON woman tricked her way into an elderly couple's home before stealing cash.

The 87-year-old man invited her in to buy some Platform boots sheets. Police said that, a short time after the woman left, the couple realised that money had been taken from the house.
The woman was white, 5ft 10ins and average build.
