Drunk thief jailed on his 30th

A "DRUNK and hungry" thief has been jailed for 12 weeks by Lincoln magistrates chanel replica watches on his 30th birthday.

Richard Robinson, chanel replica watches of Dixon Street in Lincoln, appeared before the court after stealing Pounds 82.30 worth of meat, food and alcohol from Mills Newsagents on June 13.

He admitted one charge of theft.

He also admitted breaching a 12-month community order by failing to attend meetings with the probation service and a conditional discharge issued after four previous offences.

Jim Clare, prosecuting, said the latest theft was discovered the following morning when the store's manager noticed a number of items missing and reviewed CCTV footage.

Tony Freitus, mitigating, said his client had stolen the groceries as he could not afford to buy food to eat after spending chanel replica watches all his money on alcohol and drugs.

He said: "Mr Robinson accepts the inevitable custodial sentence. The time inside will be a chance to get his head straight and he hopes to turn his life around in a positive way."
