Worth shop plans pet Halloween

Chateau de Puppy at 150 Worth Ave. will host "Pooches & Pumpkins" a Halloween-inspired yappy hour from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday.

The event will include a pooch costume contest judged by local style and entertainment icons, plus live music entertainment, martinis and hors d'ouevres.

The winner of the costume contest will receive a gift basket from Chateau de Puppy, a gift certificate to Trevini Ristorante and a three-night luxury stay and grooming at Very Important Paws.
